The Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention is a hallmark of the autumn season for Limestone County natives, but the Limestone County Historical Society wants to bring a piece of the magic to local Christmas trees this year.
The Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention has a storied history with Limestone County. Many locales have played host to the event, which draws thousands of old-time country and bluegrass fans from across the country to Athens each year, before finally settling down on the lawn of Athens State University’s Founders Hall.
